Regular and Deep Cleaning
Regular dental cleanings, also known as prophylaxis, are typically performed every six months as part of routine dental care. The process involves plaque and calculus removal, teeth polishing, and fluoride treatment. Deep cleaning is a more intensive procedure typically recommended for individuals with gum disease (periodontal disease). It involves using special instruments to remove plaque and tartar from the surfaces of the teeth, both above and below the gum line. This helps eliminate bacteria and toxins that contribute to gum inflammation and infection. Additionally, the root surfaces of the teeth are smoothed out to remove rough areas where bacteria can accumulate.
Periodontal Evaluation
A periodontal evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of the health of your gums and the supporting structures of your teeth. It typically involves several steps including a medical history review, a clinical examination to assess the condition of the gum tissue and tooth mobility, and x-rays to evaluate bone density. Based on the findings of the evaluation, your dentist will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to address any gum disease or periodontal issues that were detected.
Laser Dentistry
Laser dentistry offers a safe and minimally invasive alternative to scalpels and other traditional instruments. We may recommend using a laser for various dental treatments, combining precision, reduced discomfort, and faster recovery times. Some examples of laser-based procedures you may expect to encounter at Prestige Dental include removing inflamed tissue prior to scaling and root planing to treat gum disease by removing plaque and tartar from below the gum line; preparing cavities for fillings; and cosmetic treatments such as gum reshaping and teeth whitening.
Night Guards, Sleep Apnea Devices, and Retainers
Night guards are dental devices designed to protect your teeth from damage caused by bruxism (teeth grinding) or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder. Sleep apnea appliances are used to treat obstructive sleep apnea by repositioning the lower jaw and advancing the tongue forward during sleep, which helps keep the airway open and prevents breathing interruptions that occur with sleep apnea. Retainers hold your teeth in their corrected positions and prevent them from shifting back to their original (mis)alignment after orthodontic treatment, such as braces or Invisalign.
TMJ Botox Injection
A TMJ (temporomandibular joint) Botox Injection is a medical procedure used to treat jaw pain, muscle tension, and dysfunction associated with dysfunction of the joint. During the procedure, a member of the Prestige team will inject a small amount of Botox into the jaw muscles. Botox temporarily relaxes these muscles, providing relief from pain and improving jaw function.
Digital Imaging X-ray and CT Scan
Digital imaging, including X-rays and CT scans, plays a crucial role in diagnosing various conditions. X-rays are fast and accessible, ideal for spotting bone-related issues. CT scans (Computed Tomography) provide detailed cross-sectional images of bones, blood vessels, and soft tissues, useful for diagnosing tumors and internal bleeding. We use digital imaging to generate the highest possible resolution radiography while minimizing radiation exposure to infinitesimal levels.

Crown & Bridge
A dental bridge replaces missing teeth using abutments (supporting teeth) and artificial teeth (pontics). Abutments can be natural teeth or implants. Bridges maintain bite alignment and aesthetics. A dental crown, on the other hand, is a tooth-shaped cap placed over a damaged tooth to restore its strength and appearance. It’s used for cracked teeth, worn-down teeth, and securing bridges.
Dental Implants

Digital dental scanning, also known as intraoral scanning, revolutionizes the way we capture impressions in dentistry. Unlike traditional alginate impressions, which involve gooey materials, digital impressions use advanced technology to create a 3D digital model of a your teeth and gums. Systems like our Cadent iTero take precise digital “impressions” without discomfort or mess. These scans result in better-fitting restorations, faster appointments, and less time spent in the dental chair.
Wisdom Tooth Extraction
A wisdom tooth extraction is a common dental procedure aimed at removing one or more of the third molars, also known as wisdom teeth. These teeth typically emerge in late adolescence or early adulthood, often causing issues due to their position at the back of the mouth. The process involves numbing the area with local anesthesia, making an incision in the gum tissue to expose the tooth, and then carefully extracting it using specialized instruments. In-Office Zoom Whitening
Zoom whitening is a popular in-office teeth whitening procedure that can significantly brighten your smile in as little as one visit. The dentist will begin by protecting the gums and lips to prevent any irritation from the whitening gel. A powerful whitening gel containing hydrogen peroxide is then applied to the teeth. The whitening gel is activated by a special LED light, which helps accelerate the whitening process. The gel is typically applied in several sessions, each lasting about 15 minutes. During this time, the dentist monitors the progress and adjusts the intensity of the light as needed. During the procedure, our board certified periodontist will remove excess gum tissue to reveal more of the tooth's surface, creating a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing smile. This procedure can be done using traditional surgical techniques or laser technology, depending on the specifics of your anatomy which we will discuss at the time of your evaluation.
